Playground | Cherry Park

“A fairly new and much-needed playground! It has something for all kiddos 2-10. 8 swings, 6 slides, monkey bars, climbing obstacles, spinning seats and an all sand floor! It's also conveniently located next to tennis and basketball courts as well as bathrooms! My little one loves this place! Fun! Only downside is that there is not a lot of shaded seating for the parents!”

“Playground has gotten better from what I remembered. My kids like it a lot because it's bigger than most of the other ones we go to. Although they seem to love parks that have rocks to climb like Reservoir Park.”

“Positives: there was a variety of playground equipment including two separate play structures. The bathrooms were close and clean. There was a little bit of shade. The chains on the settings were very long and have a nice long arc. Negatives: Most of the playground is in sun all day, though one of the structures is partially shaded in the morning. There are not a lot of other children who hang out here, so we mostly had it to ourselves. The equipment is older, but not broken. Other details: sand, swings for big kids and babies, half of the playground is enclosed with a fence (but no gate).”

“Very nice playground, but the park is always full of trash. Seriously, clean up after yourself. Park has basketball, roller hockey, baseball, and tennis courts. Seems like the courts are lit until 9 or 10 pm on most nights. It's a great park, just wish people would respect it more and pick up their trash.”
