1 / 2Playland Park
π Rye, NY
Classic amusement park with kiddie rides, free arcade games, and nostalgic charm. Many rides currently closed but still offers good value for families with young children.
Sad to see what Rye Playland Park has become today in 2025. I remember coming here with my parents and grandparents in the early 2000βs brought back nostalgic memories. I miss the boat that would take you around the lake. Last time I saw the boat it was up for sale. They seem to restore a good chunk of the park with new paint and other maintenance. The bathrooms are kept clean. Hopefully the park comes back fully restored in the future. Unfortunately dragon coaster is not operating and the Ferris Wheel is being dismantled. There are still some good rides for kids to enjoy. The arcade games are free which is noice. Itβs a nice place to just walk too. Heads up they donβt allow snacks in the park. Free admission to walk the park and $15 for all rides. $10 parking.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with young children who will enjoy the basic kiddie rides and don't mind that many classic attractions are currently closed. The park offers good value at $15 for all rides with free arcade games, but visitors should set expectations accordingly as this is clearly a venue in transition. Come early to avoid crowds and enjoy a more peaceful experience.

βThis place is amazing. Not only its renewed look also the atmosphere is incredible. So many great activities you could do. Once done you ca also spend another 2 h walking around the lake close to the park. There is also a little botanik garden etc. itβs like a whole complex for the weekend. Summer for the park, winter for the hike around the park. During off season I think the giant parking lot is free for hikersβ

βThe moment we arrived, the vibrant colors and cheerful music set the mood for a day filled with joy. If you're looking for a day filled with laughter, adventure, and magical moments, Playland Park is the place to be. It has become a cherished destination for my daughter and her friends, and I canβt recommend it highly enough. We can't wait for our next visit!β

βEasy drive from the city. $10 for parking, no wait on entrance line. $15 entrance fees if riding, free entry for 3 and under and if you not riding. The park is clean, and walking g and playing. Girl walking and singing. There is a mist walk stand. Having spent 5 hours, bought water for $4.50 plus hot dog and fries for $15. Lots of rides not working and are missed. Hopefully, they are up soon.β
