1 / 3Polifly Park
π Hackensack, NY
Free splash park on a hilltop in Hackensack with concrete water features sized for young children and clear sightlines to the Manhattan skyline. A steep uphill walk from the parking area makes stroller navigation hard.
Came here on 7/4/25 it was open. Parking is tough but the water splash was just what the kiddos needed and itβs somewhat gated. I 100% recommend water shoes for them even though itβs all concrete, crocs can be too slippery and major plus for the employees that stay here! Ty!!
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with walking-age children who want free water play with a scenic bonus. The Manhattan views are a genuine draw for parents. Families with infants in heavy prams or those counting on the full posted hours should weigh the access hill and early water shutdowns before making it a dedicated trip.

βThe park was really nice there is a big hill that you can sleep down and it was a beautiful view with the snow. And there is an amazing view of manhattan from the top of the hill.β

βI recently visited a small but delightful splash park that proved to be a perfect outing for young children. This park, located in a picturesque setting, offered an array of water features and interactive play structures that had my little ones giggling with joy. The best part? It was completely free! However, there was one minor inconvenience that somewhat dampened the experience. The park's parking lot was situated on a sizable hill, while the actual park was located below. Maneuvering a stroller and carrying bags up and down the steep slope proved to be a challenge, making it slightly difficult to navigate. Despite this small drawback, the park's charming atmosphere and enjoyable amenities made it a worthwhile destination for families with young children seeking a splash-filled adventure.β

βThe park has activities and sprinklers. It was nice but the sun beams most of the park and parking close is hard. Also there's a big hill and walking back up sucked!β

Overview
Polifly Park sits on an elevated site with open views toward Manhattan. The splash area features jets and water features on a concrete surface suited to young children. The park is partially gated around the water zone. The steep terrain between the parking lot and the park entrance is the main practical challenge β manageable with walking-age kids, harder with heavy strollers. Water features have been reported to shut down before posted closing times.
