Quimby Park
π Winnetka, CA
Well-maintained park with basketball, tennis, and volleyball courts plus two separate playground areas. Best for active families who enjoy mixing sports with playground time.
Excellent place to come and play basketball, tennis, or volleyball during the day. If you come early in the mornings there aren't too many people and you could have the courts yourself. There are 2 basketball courts, 2 tennis courts, and a volleyball court. The other side of the park has a playground for kids that you should supervise your kids at. Overall the park isn't too large but it is relatively well maintained, and safe during the day. Update: sometimes you may notice homeless people living in or near the park, but so far they have been kind and keep to themselves.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for active families with older kids who enjoy sports alongside playground time. The dual playground setup works well for different age groups, but parents should supervise children closely. Visit during daytime hours when it's safest and less crowded.

βNice looking Park. Has a nice short path around the park. Drinking fountains and a small parking lot near the basketball, volleyball and Tennis Courts. Has two nice large play areas. It also has interesting circular cement pads that you can set up if you're going to have some sort of gatheringβ
