“Rainbow Ridge Ranch is an amazing place to ride horses (and make friends) in CA! I found RRR 7 years ago when my family moved out here from New York. Best compliment I can give is the amount of time I have spent at RRR. I am from Pennsylvania, retired and visit my family in California three or four times a year. I visit for two weeks at a time and am usually out at the ranch half of those days. A few years ago I actually started coming to California in-between family visits for one week horseback riding only trips so I could ride EVERY day! Both myself and my grandson highly recommended riding here whether you are a beginner or have experience riding. The prices are reasonable and well worth every penny. Kathy (the owner) and all others who are there to help you, are knowledgeable, pleasant and respectful of all riders and skill levels. The horses are well cared for. The location is peaceful and offers stunning views whether you ride in the arena or go out on trail. I discovered RRR in 2018 and have been riding here ever since. My grandson came to the ranch for a pony ride to celebrate his 4th birthday and has been coming back ever since. All people involved with the ranch are welcoming, friendly, fun, kind and extremely helpful. It is truly a family atmosphere led by Kathy, along with people who work at the ranch, the young ranch girls who spend full days at the ranch learning all they can and many others who board their horses at the ranch. With every visit, ALL of these people became friends very quickly and are now “family”. (The horses have wonderful personalities as well and deserve recognition. I’ve had the pleasure of riding Eros, Cody, Hercules, Rosy, Chester, Traveler, Hustler, Tawnto, Cali, Sienna, Bree, Rojo and Roman. My grandson’s rides so far have included Cinnamon, Dune and Ranger.) Trail rides here use a variety of trails and the same trail looks different depending on the direction you’re riding, the time of day and the time of year. I do have some favorite trails but enjoy the variety more than anything. I’ve been fortunate to ride here at all times of the year and in all kinds of weather. For me, any time spent on the back of a horse and creating memories with my friends and family of Rainbow Ridge Ranch is simply the best. I am forever grateful to everyone! Thank you.”

“This was such a special find!! Kathy caters to EVERY level. She has very sound (and fun/sweet!) horses and really gets to know where the rider's comfortability is and meets that expectation. This was the best rental experience I have ever had, the scenery was beautiful, the horse was so much fun, and she was SO kind, accommodating, and safe!! The property and horses are very well loved and taken care of too. It is tucked away into the foothills which can be alarming if you're not used to it...but the best trails always are!!”
