1 / 3Regal Simi Valley Civic Center
π Simi Valley, CA
Spacious Regal cinema in Simi Valley with comfortable reclining seats, a large modern lobby, full concessions, and pram-accessible aisles. Customer service quality varies by staff member.
What a great experience. 5 stars all the way. I purchased 2 tickets for a late night movie, and I over looked the fact that I bought the ticket for the wrong night. The very friendly employee fixed the issue, and even offered us a poster for the movie. I highly recommend this movie theater, and we'll definitely be coming back. Thank you for such a great experience. ππ»

βThe theater is located in a strip mall like most Regal theaters. This complex is a bit smaller one compared to the Spectrum area. The sound in the theater was mediocre and super loud. It felt like I was listening to cheap outdoor speakers. The picture was crisp but felt like there were some digital artifacts that made actions a bit blurry. When we went there, there weren't as many people in the theater. All Regal theaters seems to be getting old and always too dark. Their inside has not kept up with furnishing trends. Note that there are not too many chairs or couches where you can sit in case you are waiting for your relatives or friends.β

βI got my Regal Movie Pass back in Mid-2022 and have been using it ever since. This was my first time to the Simi Valley Regal Theater. It's big! It's New (or looks pretty new!). Overall VERY nice!!! I went to go see a movie here that I couldn't see at one of the 2 Regal Theaters in the Valley (San Fernando). Overall this Regal is REALLY nice! They had the updated reclining seats. The lobby was just HUUUUUUGE!!! And the employees there were very nice. Great experience!β

βI had an extremely disappointing experience at Regal Cinemas that completely ruined what was supposed to be a fun night out. From the moment I walked up to the front counter, Kathyβs attitude was shockingly rude and dismissive. Instead of greeting me or even making basic eye contact, she spoke in a sharp, impatient tone as if I was inconveniencing her just by being there. When I asked a simple question about showtimes and seating, she responded with sarcasm and visible irritation. It honestly felt like she didnβt want to be there β and more importantly, didnβt want customers there either. I had every intention of ordering concessions and spending extra money, but after the way I was treated, I didnβt feel comfortable giving this location another dollar. Her body language, tone, and overall lack of professionalism made the entire interaction awkward and unpleasant. At one point, I was so frustrated that I genuinely considered asking for a refund on my tickets and leaving altogether. Customer service sets the tone for the entire theater experience, and Kathy completely failed in that role. A movie night should start with excitement, not tension and disrespect. Itβs unacceptable for front-facing staff to treat paying customers with such open hostility. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to this theater, and I cannot recommend it to anyone. Management seriously needs to address the way customers are treated at the front counter, because no one deserves to be spoken to or made to feel the way I was.β

Overview
Regal Simi Valley Civic Center is a large, modern cinema with reclining seats and an updated lobby. The venue is fully pram-accessible and has ample parking. The sound system is loud β sensitivity-prone children may need ear protection. Online ticket purchases allow for smooth entry. A small number of staff have received strongly negative reviews for front-of-house behavior, alongside equally positive accounts from other interactions.
