Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned rider, this stable has something special for everyone. The horses are exceptionally well cared for. You can tell the team here truly loves what they do and treats every horse with the utmost respect and attention. What really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. There’s a sense of peace, joy, and genuine connection — between riders and horses, but also between people. My child took their first riding lesson here and hasn’t stopped smiling since. If you’re looking for a place to learn, grow, and fall in love with horses I cannot recommend Saddle Ridge Riding Center enough. It’s more than a stable — it’s a haven.”

“I was a little worried if my daughter was going to get an impatient instructor because of some of the reviews here but actually her first riding experience with Lucy went very well and Gina at the front desk was busy but nice too. Lucy was very patient, friendly and explained everything step by step with a smile so my daughter was so happy from the beginning till the end. We will definitely go back for more lessons.”

“A pleasant place compared to most lesson barns in the area with some friendly people. However, with at least one exception, it has average to below average trainers who are bored and just putting in their time (which often gets cut short if they want to end early). “Jumps” are set 11 inches off the ground (cross rails): and there is no going higher. I have not seen any advanced riders on lesson horses jumping anything more than 18 inches. The claim is that lesson horses will and can jump up to 2’3”, but I’ve never seen a jump at even 2 foot for a lesson horse. Our lessons have also been cut short because of “hard ground” or cold weather, with no credit for the time paid for but not given. There’s a limited variety of lesson horses, some of which feel or look “off”, with trainers faulting the riders. Still, as far as environments go, this barn is laid back and comfortable. For beginner and low intermediate riders, the lesson program is adequate.”
