Sasser Playground
đ Moross-Morang, MI
Sasser Playground in Detroit spans three blocks with a maintained playground, circular walking trail, baseball diamond, basketball court, and a small outdoor workout area. Grass is consistently cut and the newer playground equipment is intact.
Quiet personal space...in summer 2024, I lost over 11 lbs. on the outdoor workout equipment...felt good.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children of mixed ages â younger kids use the playground, older children and teens can use the basketball court and baseball diamond. The walking trail and workout equipment also serve adult caregivers. A strong all-around neighborhood park for extended outdoor visits.

âIts a nice clean open neighborhood park. The newer playground is intact. Grass is kept cut. Nice circular walking trail. All open space. Baseball diamond. And city added a very small workout area. Oh and there is a decent basketball court. Park is 3 blocks long. My only hiccup is the basketball court and children playground is on opposite ends. That makes watching smaller children and playing a game almost impossible.â

âLow key smooth park. I dislike the basketball court almost a mile away from the shedâ
