1 / 2SEA LIFE Arizona Aquarium
📍 South Tempe, AZ
SEA LIFE Arizona houses over 30 marine exhibits including a 360-degree ocean tunnel with sharks and rays, rescued sea turtles Donna and Ziva, interactive touch pools with sea stars and anemones, and jellyfish displays.
A small, but effective aquarium. All of the displays were in great shape. I definitely recommend buying combo tickets with LegoLand across the hall. It's worth every penny and your kids will spend literally all day between the 2. The stingray pool was awesome. The giant tunnel at the end it legit. Super immersive with a lot of viewing domes for the kids to help them feel like they're in the water with the fish. Sharks, sea turtles, axolotls, seahorses, lots of cool stuff to see.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 3–10 who respond strongly to marine life up close. The stingray touch pool and the 360-degree tunnel are the high points — allocate 45–60 minutes for the aquarium alone. Combo tickets with LEGOLAND next door are the smartest way to maximize the trip for a full day out.

“Beautiful aquarium with a wide variety of fish. We arrived about an hour before closing, so it was very quiet, with only a few other guests around, which made the experience really enjoyable. I imagine it gets much busier during the day. The stingray tank was my favorite, you can go up above it and look straight down, which makes for a great photo spot. They also have a gift shop, of course, where you can pick up fun souvenirs like a stuffed stingray to take home.”

“This is a beautiful and exceptionally impressive aquarium, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Inside, you'll be captivated by the most beautiful and diverse marine fish, and you'll witness God's greatness in the creativity, beauty, and design of creation. I highly recommend visiting it.”

Overview
The centrepiece is a full 360-degree ocean tunnel with sharks and stingrays overhead. Rescued sea turtles Donna and Ziva have dedicated exhibit space with educational panels. Touch pools let kids handle sea stars and anemones. An elevated viewing platform above the stingray tank is a consistent favourite. Combo tickets with the adjacent LEGOLAND Discovery Center extend the visit by several hours.
