1 / 2South Park Playground
π South Beach, CA
South Park in San Francisco's SoMa district is an oval green space dating to the 1800s, featuring a playground, historical photo displays, and low-traffic paths. A resident raccoon is a noted (if wild) attraction.
I visited the park right after sunset. It was delightfully quiet, low traffic and offered unique aerial views.
π Family Action Verdict
A good pick for families with young children who want a low-key outdoor play session with a side of local history. The quiet, low-traffic setting suits toddlers and preschoolers especially well. Older kids interested in local history will find the heritage displays engaging.

Pretty cool to learn about that land since in believe it was the 1800's a nice park to visit. There's also one raccoon who is friendly enough to walk close for food it's huge! Nice park always quiet although last time there was an drunk at dusk on one of the park benches singing his heart out. It was pretty funny he seemed pretty harmless too but you never know...β
