📍 Jersey City, NY
Nature-themed indoor play space for ages 0–6 with separate zones by developmental stage — climbing walls, pretend play (food market, vet clinic), magnets, and coloring. On-site cafe serves espresso drinks and fresh-baked goods.
Went to Spark place yesterday with my grandson Luca. We had the best time most delicious cappuccino Luca spent so much time playing and enjoying himself great place for grandparents to take their grandchild on babysitting day. Good luck spark place. We will be seeing you soon.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with babies through 6-year-olds who want a thoughtfully designed space where both the children's play and the parents' cafe experience are taken seriously. The multi-age zoning means siblings at different stages can visit together. Worth traveling for if you're within reasonable distance of Jersey City Heights.

“I am so excited Spark Place opened up! I have been following along on Instagram for their opening day and it was everything I hoped for! First off, it's in a great location. The play space was so beautifully designed and it was SO clean! I definitely gravitate towards cleaner spaces because of all the germs and I wasn't worried here at all during open play. My daughter is 1 and I loved how there were littles and also older kids. She really enjoys playing with the babies and also watching and trying to be like the older kids! Also, I love the cafe and all the offerings. What an amazing combination - a play space for my little and coffee for the parents! The place was truly so cozy and the staff were all so wonderful, kind and attentive! Another thing I am really excited to try are the classes. I am really excited for their later offerings. As a working parent, it's so hard to find classes to take my little one after work so I am excited to take her to the spark bites class! I love how the classes were designed by an occupational therapist and speech therapist and educator and their intent behind the classes. So happy Spark Place opened up and can't wait to come back!!”

“This place is amazing. Its beautiful, its organized. The owner is such a sweet, caring man. The space for the kids is very spacious. They have alot of toys and stuffed animals. My daughter meet a couple of kids and they just hit it off. If you come by you need to try the drinks and snacks as well. My daughter loved the babyccino. The Banana Latte was delicious. The expresso is strong and smooth. My wife had a dark hot chocolate and it was delicious. We also had a blueberry scone and a banana pound cake which was fresh and delicious. This place is amazing for kids of all kinds. They even have classes for toddlers up to 6 years old. Definitely coming back to this place even though its over an hour away. Its worth the trip.”

“Awesome new play place in the heights! It offers a variety of activities for kids such as magnets, coloring, pretend play such as food market, veterinary, and kitchen. The slide and climbing wall are especially popular. They even have an area for the little ones to enjoy. Their coffee is one of the best I’ve had. I personally love the iced banana latte but if you want something fruity the Iced Bramble latte is great. It’s especially great as parents can bond with their little one and it’s become a great hang out spot for parents in the community. It’s a must visit!”
