Recently became a member of the ASTC Travel Passport Program. This was the third museum my 4yo and I visited. This is the best museum so far. We were here for just over 4 hours before I ruined my daughter's day by telling her it was time to leave. They even have a small cafeteria for lunch/snack time. Sadly they ran out of coffee when I was in need. We will be returning. Bring extra clothes for the kids in case they have a little to much fun with the water play.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

This museum is excellent for families with toddlers and children 6 and under, offering engaging hands-on activities including water play, dinosaur exhibits, and dramatic play areas. Most parents find it exceptionally well-maintained and worth extended visits of 4+ hours. However, be aware of potential cleanliness issues in water play areas and consider bringing extra clothes for messy play.

β€œIt’s easily one of the best children’s museums, especially for toddlers and slightly older. They have a wide array of activities, including the fake bus of course, and a cool fake shopping area. I’ve never seen such a clean and well maintained children’s museum. The staff is constantly putting things back - they’re like waiters at a high end restaurant. Go.”

β€œIt’s a great museum with lots of fun, hands-on activities for kids. It’s especially worth visiting for children 6 and under, as they can really enjoy everything. There are areas for dramatic play, storytelling, dinosaur-themed activities, water play, and a dining area. They also offer discounted admission for EBT card holders.”

β€œSmall museum but good β€” tons for kids to do there. The dinosaur section is probably the most popular along with the water play. Didn’t like that the water was still a thing in the dead of winter (but it’s fine) They also have different sessions (puppet shows and others) those are great. It could be a challenge to have the kids sit in one place but we managed. Interactive wall was also a huge hit with the kids. Will want to go back in the summer to see what they have to offer. Overall great day with the kiddos at stepping stone”
