“Popped in to kill some time and admittedly I was expecting more of a roadside sideshow, but walked out so pleased and had such a wonderful time. Went as two adults and were offered to hold a baby alligator immediately by the owners son dressed like Steve Irwin, before even paying for admission. We spent hours there, the facility is truly great and the animals all looked healthy, happy and loved. They're all rescued pets living out their days as animal ambassadors. I felt so good knowing the price of admission would go towards their care. And what's great is that the place is a locally owned multigenerational family business and the owners, employees and volunteers all look like they're passionate and take great pride in the place. They do all sorts of little shows and you'll walk out having pet or held all sorts of animals which is so cool..I'd highly recommend this for adults with kids, and even adults without kids will have a great time because the staff doesn't forget about us. I love how they make sure even the adults without kids get a chance to get up close and personal with the animals. If you're passing by and on the fence about it, just do it. It's such a local treasure!”
