Pro tip: Bring bug spray in the summer and wear comfy shoes. And if you’re bringing kids, keep an eye out for the “Turtle Peace Labyrinth”, it’s such a sweet touch. What you've got there in Teaneck is truly a breathtaking pocket of pure nature, a genuine little forest nestled right in the middle of everything. When you step inside, the hustle and bustle just melts away, and you're surrounded by this wonderfully vibrant green space teeming with forest life. Close your eyes for a moment, and you can almost get lost in the sweet melodies of countless birds chirping their songs – it's like a natural orchestra! And keep your eyes peeled because you're likely to spot adorable rabbits hopping through the underbrush, playful squirrels darting up the trees, and if you're lucky, maybe even a graceful deer or two making their way near the peaceful Dragonfly Creek. The way this area has been preserved is just fantastic; it really holds onto that wild, untouched feeling. “This beautiful slice of well maintained nature is hidden in plain sight next to the Glenpointe complex and I-80. You know it is a healthy natural environment because you will see ducks, deer and birds in their habitat. The paths are kept up well (several are ADA accessible) and i can’t recall ever having seen trash in the area. Pieces of recycled sculpture art dot the area and are a fun treasure hunt to visit. My favorite part is certainly the enclosed garden and turtle labyrinth.”

“Such a hidden gem! Watched a family of geese swimming and eating. A great egret wading in the water. Saw my first Baltimore Oriele here. Watched a few deer eating. Plenty of parking. Lots of cool sculptures. Flat and easy hiking for families. No restroom or potty available. No parking or admission fees. Dog friendly is a bonus! Beautiful sculptures all around.”
