Pro tip: Bring bug spray in the summer and wear comfy shoes. And if you’re bringing kids, keep an eye out for the “Turtle Peace Labyrinth”, it’s such a sweet touch. “This beautiful slice of well maintained nature is hidden in plain sight next to the Glenpointe complex and I-80. You know it is a healthy natural environment because you will see ducks, deer and birds in their habitat. The paths are kept up well (several are ADA accessible) and i can’t recall ever having seen trash in the area. Pieces of recycled sculpture art dot the area and are a fun treasure hunt to visit. My favorite part is certainly the enclosed garden and turtle labyrinth.”
