1 / 3The Adventure Park at Long Island
📍 East Gate, NY
Aerial adventure park with 14 treetop trails, 203 challenge elements, and 49 ziplines across four colour-coded difficulty levels. Kids aged 3–6 have a dedicated Adventure Playground; courses open to ages 7–73.
What a fun & exciting day. Two 10 yr old boys & their 73 yr old grandma spent the morning at the park. It was our first visit. We did 3 trails Goldfinch, Grand Rapids & Fern Gully without a break. We still had a little time on our ticket but we were all tired out. I suggest that you bring snacks & schedule a break. Cubbies, lockers(no locks) & picnic tables are available, some snacks are available to purchase. The staff was very helpful & stressed safety. The locking harnesses kept us feeling secure & we learned on the practice course. The leather gloves are a must.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for active families with children aged 7 and up who want a genuine outdoor challenge. The four difficulty tiers mean beginners and experienced climbers can tackle different routes simultaneously without holding each other back. The separate toddler playground keeps ages 3–6 engaged.

“It was an amazing experience, first time. There are many color routes you can choose from, depending on the difficulty of the obstacles. It ranges from yellow, green, blue and black (the hardest ones). I recommend going on the yellow to start off and if good at this, go straight to black if you are up for the challenge because you won’t be that tired. It was was, had a ton of time and overall would go back to complete both of the black routes. 100% recommended.”

“Very fun time in a safe and laid-back wooded wonderland environment. Easy to learn the ropes and progress through the difficulty levels. Perfect for a large range of ages and abilities. Nice to know that there were early exits on the courses. A fun an exciting way to spend a few hours outdoors in the cool shade of trees!”

“Highly recommend it. Staff are very friendly and hopeful, good quality water is available. Activities are very in level and difficulty which makes it suitable for all ages. Safety measurements are taken very seriously. I would recommend wearing gloves and going early in in the morning when there's not much people.”
