1 / 3The Blok Climbing Co
π Como, TX
The Blok Climbing Co is a community-focused bouldering gym in Fort Worth with 3,750 sq ft of terrain, wall angles from 5 to 65 degrees, a Kilter Board, strength training room, and 100 new problems set monthly.
Our girls had such a great experience climbing at The Blok early in the day, that they requested to come back for a few more hours! The atmosphere is great, even for parents to sit and watch their kids. What's even better, The Blok graciously gave us BOGO passes for our Spanish exchange student! She has never done any kind of boulder climbing and we are so gracious to Tammy for providing us with this offer. We will definitely be coning back next time we are in town. Highly recommend stopping in checking this place out!
π Family Action Verdict
A welcoming first-stop for families new to climbing β the community-first atmosphere means kids and beginners are actively encouraged rather than tolerated. Birthday parties work well for kids aged 8 and up. Parents who climb can join as kids work through problems on lower-angle walls.
