1 / 2The Buffalo Zoo
đ Delaware Park, NY
A smaller, family-friendly zoo in Delaware Park with well-cared animals, active exhibits, and educational programs. Perfect for families wanting a manageable zoo day without overwhelming crowds.
Had a great time visiting the zoo. Though it was a chilly day so few parts of the zoo were empty like the poultry area zebras, hyenas etc but we had a good luck to see these amazing and majestic animals. Polar bear and snow leopard were very comfortable due to the chilled weather and it was a treat to see them play. Recommended for children to must visit with their parents and have a fun outing.
đ Family Action Verdict
Perfect for families with children seeking a manageable zoo experience without overwhelming crowds. Best visited in warmer months when all animals are active and exhibits fully operational. The intimate size makes it ideal for younger kids who might get tired at larger zoos.

âThis zoo is on the smaller side but it was still a great visit! The animals look well cared for. Being it was November, things were bare and there wasn't as much going on, obviously. I'd be interested to see what it looks like in the summer months. I was actually only here for a conference, and the zoo and being able to walk through it was a definite perk!â

âThis is always one of my favorite zoos to visit but this visit was exceptionally good. Most of the animals were out and active, seemed happy, and the dinosaurs were a fun touch. There were even staff at several exhibits providing additional information. Happy 150th birthday!!â
