“I can't say enough nice things about this beautiful museum located on the UCLA campus accessible off Sunset Blvd. Went their recently for a Dia deLis Muertos celebration which saw us making altars, sugar skulls and mini piñatas in free workshops while having pan dolce drinking champurrado and listening to one of LA finest mariachi bands. Their staff at the museum were so incredibly warm, engaging and informative about the ongoing exhibits. Great gift shop selling handcrafted items from small global cooperatives. Go, you won't be disappointed. Have lunch at Platea in the Luskin center on campus.”

“Wonderful base collections and amazing special exhibits. Park in lot 4 and exit the north east stairwell. It is due north from there, no need to go up the famous steps. I went there for the exhibit on African ironwork. Truly amazing material covering its use in the different aspects of life and from many regions. From daily household items, farming equipment, and weapons. Their silver collection is fantastic. Went for the map exhibit. There were only a couple of interesting items. Armenian Lace exhibit was amazing.”
