1 / 3Spieker Aquatic Center
📍 Westwood, CA
UCLA's collegiate aquatic centre offering swim lessons for youth and adults, Masters swimming, aquatic fitness classes, and excellent close-up spectator sightlines for competitive swim and diving meets.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families attending a scheduled swim meet or diving event - the sightlines are genuinely exceptional for a collegiate pool. Families with young swimmers enrolled in lessons will find the programmes well-structured. Casual visitors should plan around a specific event or class rather than a drop-in swim session.

“Every seat has a great, close view of the pool. Parking in the garage is convenient if you get a numbered space, but if not you can park in nearby lot 11 which is a short walk away.”

“Great collegiate facility. Angle for one of the few shade spots if you can to avoid all the direct sunlight.”

Spieker Aquatic Center is UCLA's main aquatic facility with six campus pools. Programming includes youth swim lessons, adult Masters swimming, and aquatic fitness classes. The venue doubles as a competition spectator site with tight, close-range sightlines for swim meets and diving events. Parking is available in an on-site garage with overflow in nearby Lot 11. Pram-accessible with toddler-friendly programming. Shade is extremely sparse across the seating areas.
