This park is hidden from the public, only the locals will know about this park, bring your driver license, they check to see if you are a resident in Westchester. When the temperature is 80 and above the pool is the place to stay cool. Parking is 10 bucks & pool entrance is 10 bucks for non member. The pool has a water basket ball section, lazy river, kiddy section where the bucket pour over you just like great wolf lodge. They have a huge slide . A concession stand is there to keep you energized. When there’s bad weather and pool day is canceled, then miniature golf it is for that day. Parking is free when the pool is closed, mini golf is 10 bucks per person. A 19 hole course can be fun and can last a hr to 3 hrs depending how many times you go back to a course and replay it. As long you don’t hit the ball in the 19th hole because the ball doesn’t return back to you, you can stand as long you want. They have an ice cream selection after your done with golf. This park is cool, nice , clean and peaceful, can ride a bike, skate and jog around. They have a fitness area which is nice, no permit needed to play tennis/pickleball, need a permit to grill , 3 different playground for kids . A pond to walk around , this park is right off the saw mill pkway .

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for Westchester County families with children of any age. Toddlers through teens each find something distinct here — pool, playground, mini golf, or trails depending on the season. The winter light festival makes off-season visits worthwhile. Residency check at entry is enforced — bring a driving licence every time.

Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers, NY is an amazing park with so much to offer, and I always enjoy spending time there. I really appreciate the trails around the park, which are perfect for walking, relaxing, and enjoying the scenery. The playgrounds are great for families, and the huge lake is absolutely beautiful and adds to the peaceful atmosphere. I also love seeing the wildlife throughout the park, which makes every visit feel special. Riding my Hiboy e-scooter through the park is a lot of fun and a great way to explore everything. The mini gym and tennis courts are excellent for staying active, and the waterpark is a fantastic bonus, especially during warmer months. Tibbetts Brook Park truly has something for everyone and is a wonderful place to enjoy the outdoors.

I really enjoy walking through Tibbetts. The atmosphere very scenic and serene depending on the area you travel. I prefer to find a quiet corner by the lake they have benches among the picturesque trails during the beautiful changes of the Seasons. The park is named for Tibbetts Brook, which in turn is named for George Tibbetts, a Briton who had settled the land in 1668. The park is bordered by the Cross County Parkway to the north, Saw Mill River Parkway to the west, McLean Avenue to the south and Midland Avenue to the East. Tibbetts Brook Park is north of Van Cortlandt Park along South County Trailway, and Tibbetts Brook crosses north-south through the park on its way to the Harlem River.
