Venice Indoor Pool
📍 Mar Vista, CA
Budget-friendly indoor heated pool offering swim lessons, recreational swim, and lap swimming. Popular with families for its affordable rates and welcoming environment.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
This budget-friendly pool is excellent for families teaching kids to swim, with clean water and welcoming staff creating a positive learning environment. However, the dated locker room facilities with strict policies and cold showers make it less ideal for families needing comfortable changing areas. Best suited for families prioritizing affordability and swim instruction over amenities.

“The Venice HS pool has been one of my prime places for lap swimming for at least the past 30 years. It is where my two children learned how to swim. I very very rarely have any complaints about the water quality; they keep it A1+. In contrast, the locker rooms are typical City facilities, safe but not necessarily aesthetically pleasing. I've always found the Venice pool to be staffed with friendly and helpful people. Finally, admission (currently) is very affordable especially for the kids and seniors.”

“Great indoor old school pool. Only 3 laps lanes usually though.”
