The Venice HS pool has been one of my prime places for lap swimming for at least the past 30 years. It is where my two children learned how to swim. I very very rarely have any complaints about the water quality; they keep it A1+. In contrast, the locker rooms are typical City facilities, safe but not necessarily aesthetically pleasing. I've always found the Venice pool to be staffed with friendly and helpful people. Finally, admission (currently) is very affordable especially for the kids and seniors.

âFriendly staff, good coaches. Pool is correct temp and nice and clean. Kids are learning to swim and having a fab time. The price is definitely affordable.â

âThe staff is friendly. The pool is overall OK for an old one. The recurring problem however is very little lapswim time. Unlike other pools throughout the area, lapswimmers in Venice pool are an after thought even after hours when the high-school is closed.â
