We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this rock climbing gym. The instructor, Kennon, was incredibly kind and thoughtful, taking the time to ensure everyone felt comfortable and, most importantly, safe throughout the session. We came as a group of seven climbers, including students with special needs. The instructor/staff, Kennon was patient, attentive, and inclusive every step of the way. Everyone had such a great time, and it was clear how much care went into making the experience positive for all participants. On top of that, the gym itself is really nice clean, well-organized, and welcoming. We would happily recommend this gym and look forward to coming back!

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with some climbing exposure or those specifically seeking auto-belay independent climbing. The inclusive, patient staff make it a strong choice for children with special needs. First-time families with zero experience should call ahead to book a proper instruction session rather than arriving expecting on-the-spot guidance.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Call ahead to book belay certification or beginner instruction classes — not available as walk-ins
Auto-belays are abundant and weighted toward intermediate difficulty levels
🎟️Bouldering areas are split into several smaller sections rather than one open wall
🚗Youth Climb Club offers a non-competitive format for children building confidence

Great gym! Huge selection of routes available, for all different types. I believe they told me there is 30+ auto belays, which is about 2x more than any other gym I've been to. I would recommend more variety of difficulties in the auto belays. I saw really only 5.10&11 or 5.7&8. Also a very big difference in rating depending on the setter. Some 5.10s seemed more like a 5.8 or 9.

An excellent climbing gym! Visited here while on a work trip, and had a very good time. There are multiple bouldering areas, with lots of variety, tons of auto-belays, and plenty of top rope. The sets on the boulders were quite fun. The facility was spacious, and comfortable, and the staff was helpful and friendly. Would definitely come back if I'm in the area.

I visit this gym to sport climb when I am in town and enjoy it. When I was there the other day, despite it being a holiday weekend, Matt K was extremely helpful for me and my friend. He gave us an excellent belay test and took plenty of time to ensure we had any questions answered, and was generally very friendly with excellent customer service. He’s clearly experienced and great at his job! The whole Sunday crew that were there were all great and very attentive to the needs of the busy gym. We unfortunately had a negative encounter with a staffer the previous day who seemed inexperienced and was rather rude; as a climbing gym employee, I felt his service was not up to the industry standard during our check-in and belay test. Other than that, all my staff interactions have been positive. If you are looking to sport climb alone, this is a great gym because of the sheer volume of autobelays. The ABs themselves have the same high quality setting as the TR and lead routes, and the machines are very smooth and do not drop you before catching you when lowering. As primarily a boulderer, I’m not a huge fan of the bouldering here. It’s segmented into three small areas rather than one cohesive section, and in my personal opinion, the bouldering sets are less interesting and graded less accurately than the sport routes; they seem a bit old school, not embracing a more modern setting approach (part of this could be a dated hold selection). The variety of styles in the boulders is limited and I don’t know if I’d have much to do if I were climbing at V3 and below. If you don’t know how to belay and want to use the top rope climbs, make sure to call ahead and plan to attend one of their classes, because they are not offered as an ad-hoc orientation.
