1 / 2Wild Child Play Space
π Staten Island, NY
Immersive 80s/90s-themed indoor play centre with a three-story jungle gym, six 'Funky Town' storefronts, and a dedicated soft play zone for under-24-month toddlers. Birthday packages include slime, glow, and tie-dye add-ons.
My son went WILD experiencing this place for the 1st time for his bestie's birthday party this past Saturday afternoon! The place was closed off for the birthday party exclusively for the next two hours, making it easy to keep the kiddos in one place. We quickly scanned the QR code to complete the sign-in waiver, pulled off our shoes, and headed inside! The space is really trippy with the UV lights and the music playing on the speakers was kid friendly. There's imaginative play spaces, like a diner, grocery store, and even a classroom for kids to touch and play to take a break from the obstacle course. My high energy 4.5 year old loved crawling, climbing, jumping and sliding all over! I had to coax him to come out to take a break for some water! He didn't stop smiling the whole time! There's a little cafe/bar for drinks - hot and cold - for the adults with pastries and cookies too! There's free water jugs to keep the kids hydrated. Once the 1 hour for play was over, we transitioned upstairs to the party room, which was big and spacious for everyone. Plenty of seating and ledges to lean on. The staff had this place running seamlessly and kept everything moving without us feeling rushed. The only thing to note for children that have sensory processing concerns, is that the music is a little loud and there are strobe lights. Better to come prepared with noise-cancelling earmuffs if this might be a concern. My son had a BLAST - all the kids were asking to go back downstairs to play some more, but there was another party immediately after us, so it wasn't possible. We will have to come back soon for open play!
π Family Action Verdict
Best for high-energy kids aged 3-8, especially for birthday parties where staff handle setup, food, decorations, and cleanup end-to-end. The multi-story structure and imaginative play zones suit mixed-age groups. Sensory-sensitive children may find the music volume and strobe elements challenging.

βWe had our sonβs 3rd birthday party at Wild Child last year and I cannot speak highly enough of how awesome it was. My niece actually wanted her bday at the same place so my sister & I ended up doing a joint party. We rented out the whole space and upstairs they literally split the room with different decor for us. Everything looked great and the kids had a blast. Whatβs so great about wild child is that they have the smaller area for little ones and then the huge 3 story play zone for the bigger kids. Plus all of the little stores and toys for imaginative play. Thereβs something for everyone here. ALSO cannot forget to mention how clean it was without smelling horribly of cleaning products. 10/10 recommend!!β

βI had my daughters 4th birthday today. Itβs very obvious that the staff is well cared for and they like their job. They were so accommodating and helpful. The owners came by at the start of our party and made sure everything was set for us. 100% would recommend it to anyone.β

βWent above and beyond for my daughterβs 5th birthday! She had a troll theme and I couldnβt have asked for anything more! Didnβt have to do anything but book the date and they took care of the rest , food, decorations , cake, balloons and favors ! Absolutely the Best !β
