âReally amazing park. A beautiful place to walk. It has natural wildflower areas with walking paths, open fields, giant weeping willows, etc. I remember when we moved to Chicago over 5 years ago, and we didn't live near Winnema then but happened up on it and was so amazed by what parks the city had to offer. The only "negative" is that now with young children, the playground area is, compared to other spots like Welles, River, Hamlin, Walsh, etc., pretty dated, small, and basic. But really, that's nitpicking, and not enough to detract from a truly 5 star parkâ
