“A mom got hit in the face by a golf ball at this play park a couple of weeks back. She was right in the middle of the park (by the purple dinosaur) Super lucky it didn’t hit her eye, or her kid who was just next to her, but her cheek was really, really badly hurt. We submitted a report via the Getitdone app and reported it to the city, but until they sort the fencing (or whatever else they’d need to do) we’re not going to take our kid here until after the golf course closes in the evenings. For people who haven’t been before, this play park is right next to a golf course, there is fencing, but not all the way up/across.”
