1 / 3AMC Century City 15
π Century City, CA
Large multiplex cinema featuring premium IMAX and Dolby screens with luxury reclining seats. Best for families wanting a top-tier movie experience, though customer service can be inconsistent.
Best SoCal IMAX screen and South of the Santa Monica Mountains. (Yes, Universal City Walk's 1:43 IMAX is one of the Wonders of The World!) Validate after entry to Theater for $6 dollar parking just remember to validate before leaving the theater. ($18 dollar experience that burned this into my mind. Theater employees are Great about showing you where and helping people if they need it.) Seriously. Best screen. Best sound. It's a religious experience with the right films.
π Family Action Verdict
Best suited for families seeking a premium movie experience with older children who can appreciate the top-tier IMAX and Dolby screens. The $20+ ticket prices make this an expensive outing, so consider it for special occasions. Be prepared for potential customer service issues and validate parking to avoid high fees.

βThis movie theater is huge. I went to watch βStansβ and had great experience. The prices for tickets seemed high for me, around $20 for one person. The theater itself is pretty clean. The picture quality and sound was good.β

βFavorite go-to spot as they have multiple different types of theatres from the Prime one, IMAX, Dolby, and regular one. The reclining seats are the best and cleanliness wise itβs prolly one of the most decent among all AMCs I have been although wonβt say itβs clean clean #IYKYK. When itβs extremely busy, the restroom sometimes do end up being bit messy.β

βHi, my name is David. After a long, hard day of work, I just wanted to relax and enjoy a movie. I went to AMC, bought a ticket, and when I got to the security check, they asked what was in my bag. I told them it was just chips. The security person told me to leave. I asked why, and after some confusion, I decided to leave the chips outside β but then they still told me to leave the theater. They even lied to the police saying I refused a refund, when all I wanted was my money back. One of the security guys, named Chris, even acted aggressively like he wanted to use pepper spray on me, and the manager, Jelani, also told me to leave in a disrespectful way. I was treated unfairly and humiliated for no reason. Iβm just a paying customer who wanted to watch a movie in peace. Instead, I was disrespected and laughed at by the staff. This whole experience caused me stress and completely ruined my night. I hope AMC management sees this review and takes action to remove people like this from their staff. Customers deserve respect. After what happened, I do not recommend this location at all β they clearly donβt care about their customers.β
