1 / 2Billy Wilder Theater at the Hammer Museum
📍 Westwood, CA
Home to the UCLA Film & Television Archive's public screening series, including dedicated Family Flicks programs with first-come-first-served seating. Silent films to digital formats all screened free of charge.
I was visiting my daughter and we attended this museum. They had a couple of good exhibits. We also had a great time in the courtyard on the chairs.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with older children and teens who can engage with curated film programming and contemporary art exhibitions. The free admission removes all budget friction. Toddlers and young children will find sparse programming aimed at them — Family Flicks events are the targeted exception, so check the calendar before visiting with under-5s.
