1 / 2Animal Farm Petting Zoo
π Manorville, NY
Operating since 1981, this 10-acre Manorville farm offers hands-on feeding with goats, mini cows, ponies, camels, and exotic birds, plus a Baby Barn for cuddling, pony rides, Safari Train, and playgrounds.
My boyfriend surprised me with a visit to the Animal Farm Petting Zoo in Manorville, and it turned out to be a great date. The variety of animals, especially the birds, was really impressive. The facility is extremely clean with no bad smells, and the pricing is very reasonable. Plus, itβs a great way to get some exerciseβwe definitely got our steps in for the day! We were lucky to visit on a day with perfect weather, not too hot or cold. I also loved how many hand washing stations were conveniently located throughout the zoo. The variety of animals is fabulous. My personal favorite was the mini pig, Porkyβhe's absolutely adorable. The baby goats were awesome too, although theyβre little escape artists. They also have a baby station that was really relaxing. We almost adopted a baby bunny. They have them for sale at a good price, even better than the pet stores. Overall, this is such a cute local spot. While itβs definitely family-friendly, my boyfriend and I had a blast and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Iβd highly recommend it for a fun day out.
π Family Action Verdict

βThey had great animals and the animals were really friendly. We enjoyed the puppet show. It was cute. The children thought the playgrounds were fun, and the gift shop was well organized and reasonably priced (my granddaughter's opinion). The bunnies were adorable as well as the monkey. A positive would be adding water stations to fill customers' water bottles and to add a pony so that taller and / or older children can enjoy a ride.β

βKid friendly. Get to feed animals. Get to pet baby animals. Kids can ride pony. Wide variety of animals including camel, horse, donkey, sheep, birds, chickens, pigs and goats. Animals were tame and kid friendly. There is a train ride through the back of the property.β
