1 / 2Brookhaven Aquatic Center
đ Mastic Beach, NY
Swimming facility with aqua aerobics, swim meets, and clean facilities. Best suited for families with older children who can commit to regular sessions and advance booking.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best suited for families with older children who can commit to regular swimming sessions and don't mind advance planning. The facility excels at structured activities like swim meets and aqua aerobics, but strict policies around time limits and bathroom access make it less convenient for casual family visits or families with very young children.

âI recently started doing aqua aerobics at The aquatic center. I was very impressed with the instructor. She really knows her stuff. And the water was nice and warm and the other ladies there were very nice and I had an amazing time. I had such an amazing time I signed up for a full membership.đĨ°đĨ°đđŊââī¸â

âNice place. Staff friendly, locker rooms clean. Rates reasonable ( $38 per month pp I think and a bit less if you take a longer stretch- a/o 12/21. Also a discount for seniors). Not busy when I go and so far, out of 12 lanes, only 3 or so are occupied at one time. Yes it's a pain in the butt to have to make reservations every couple of days, but I think that's what keeps it not so busy. And the $1.50 charge for credit card payments is no biggie. Closed on Sundays. Definitely would recommend.â
