Most fun I've ever seen our two kids have (5&7)
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with kids ages 3 and up planning an overnight resort stay. Younger children thrive in the splash zones and lazy river; older kids and teens target the big slides. Multi-day stays maximize value — a single afternoon visit can feel rushed given the drive to Tannersville.

“Most fun I've ever seen our two kids have (5&7)”

“The biggest gripe was the room, which was barely prepared. We got the bunk suite. There was no bedding on one of the bunk beds. Luckily we only needed 3 of the 4 bunks. But no sheets on any of them? Just mattress protector and a small thin quilt. One of the kids quilts was noticeably smaller, it didn’t even cover our 5 year old. She got up in the middle of the night and complained to us that the “blanket” was too small. Only 2 bath towels in the room. We were 5, not sure how that works. No conditioner or shampoo. Completely empty. Couldn’t get a drop. Big stains on floor, but maybe outside of their control. No coffee machine. When we call to request one, they delivered it with no coffee or sugar or powder, so didn’t end up using it. The water wark was okay. The flow rider operator kept letting her boyfriend skip the line and it got very annoying. He would show up out of nowhere and jump on a board for 5 minutes. Happened multiple times even with a very long line. The lazy river didnt open until 12pm. The vertical slides closed at 5pm. We slightly moved some chairs in the corner by the mid-sized kids pool to accomodate our group and we were told to move them back. We asked how much VIP seating was by the wave pool and no one could give any answer. We were sent to the front desk. The front desk said we had to go to the towel station. The towel station said to go to the goggle shop. They said they had no clue how much or how to rent any seats in that area. There is a lot of rusted metal missing galvanized paint. It will become a tetanus risk eventually. Beware. There was a strong sewer smell coming from the corner of the bar. Tiny drinks were $17. Also a strong sewer smell coming from the side of the flow rider. There were roaches in the dark area by the entrance of the lazy river against the wall. A bunch of them. I’m sure the extreme levels of chlorine (and I do mean extreme) will render them harmless, but still. Overall, a lot of this we could overlook as standard waterpark stuff, but it is the room experience that will keep us away. No bedding or sheets, no bath towels, no conditioner for our 3 girls with chlorine-dried hair, so it is the room experience that will unfortunately keep us away and we will stick with Great Wolf. I won’t give it a 1 star, because some of the slides were cool and it was a very light crowd on the weekdays. But overall experience for the money (about $500 for 2 days, with room and parking and a few drinks), not worth it for us. Maybe YMMV.”
