1 / 3Center Ice Skating Arena
π Ontario, CA
NHL-sized ice rink offering public skating, figure skating, and hockey programs. Popular for birthday parties and group outings, though parents should dress warmly for the very cold temperatures.
It's nice to have a skating rink still around. We went with a large group and had so much fun! It wasn't very pricey and you actually get kind of warm skating around. Try it out with a group of friends.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for older kids and teens who can handle cold temperatures and skating risks. The affordable pricing makes it attractive for birthday parties and group outings, but parents should be prepared for a very cold environment and take safety precautions seriously given frequent injury reports.

βThis Ice Skating rink is a training facility but is open to the public from 10:30 - 1pm. There is plenty of free parking and there is a charge to rent skis.β

βTook my date here since she mentioned she always wanted to try ice skating, and with the weather being hot, this seemed like a fun idea. The rink has a mix of stuff going on private lessons, hockey leagues (adult and youth), etc. We came during the public skate hours (6 PM to 10 PM). It was a decent setup. Thereβs seating around the rink, and personal lockers are available for 50 cents. They provide skates if you donβt bring your own. It was a good crowd which ranged from mostly kids and some young adults. Itβs definitely cold inside, so bring a jacket, though you warm up once you start moving. The place was fairly clean and the bathrooms were fine. Only downside was the staff, not rude, but not very friendly either, especially when answering questions and when handing out the rental skates. Overall, it was a good time. My date had fun, and thatβs what mattered most.β

βTook my daughter here for her birthday. Bring warm clothing itβs FREEZING inside. I love the cold but even this was a bit much for me. Bring warm clothing, jackets, sweaters, gloves and a beanie. They did have a heated room you could sit in. Iβm not sure if it was an unused party room it their actual sitting room π€·π½ββοΈ. Your gloves are definitely needed. They have a vending machine with snacks and they have one with beanies socks and tiny gloves. I did not see a concession stand or a counter to buy warm drinks or anything. Come prepared and dress warm especially if you are sitting and watching. There are a few bleachers beside the ice to sit and watchβ
