We are first time beginner surfers and just wanted to try surfing for the experience. Joe is a great teacher - very personable and friendly. He made the class very fun, safe, and enjoyable. For anyone who does not have the best balance and is afraid of the ocean, he is patient, gives great advice, and keeps the mood upbeat. Most especially we had a great time making fun of each other getting wipedout and machine washed without feeling badly criticized.
