“My 8-year-old was invited to a birthday party here and we had a really good time. The rink is a nice size, not too big or overwhelming, and it was full of families which made it feel lively but comfortable. The skates were smooth without feeling overly slippery, which helped me relax and actually enjoy skating. The music had a fun 90s and early 2000s vibe, which made the whole atmosphere even better. They also played short games on the rink, which kept things engaging. It felt fairly clean overall. Lockers worked well, just know that once you reopen it, you’ll need to pay again to relock, around 25 to 75 cents. We used Groupon and paid about $9 per person, which was great. Skate rentals are $8. The menu has a good variety for families. Vegan options are limited to fries, and they do share the fryer with chicken. I honestly can’t wait to go back. It felt fun, active, and easy to enjoy with family. Not a critic, just sharing how it felt.”

“We came here on a Groupon deal, and what a gem of a place. We loved skating and enjoyed the games. Offered with winners. Getting a free drink from the snack bar. You can rent skates and come for a 90 minute skate session or bring your own if you have them. My kids enjoyed the rink and the music as well as the very nice rolling floor That is well taken care of. If you want the Groupon, you have to buy it one hour before coming. Otherwise, it will not work. The staff was helpful and friendly. They take pride and their place of business and employment. Which is always refreshing to see. I also enjoyed as a spectator that there are benches to sit on. That are the height of the rink, so you can see with ease as the kids are skating.”

“We had my daughter’s birthday party at Fountain Valley Skating Center and it was such a great experience! The girls had an absolute blast getting on skates and trying it out together. The staff was so helpful and friendly, which made everything run smoothly. We made so many fun memories—definitely recommend for a party!”

“There’s a main parking lot and additional lot next door. There’s a window outside the entrance to purchase tickets before you enter. We came for a kid’s birthday party and walked straight in to check in with the hostess. The left side is where the birthday parties are seated. The right side is for open skaters. Great cheap fun entertainment for all ages and all level. It seemed like every 15 minutes they had a group activity in the rink for those who want to participate. They had a giant dice musical group chair game, race by levels, dancing, birthday shout outs, etc. they made sure that everyone was skating in one direction until it was time switch. For the birthday package, we had 3 hours of skating time and exactly 30 minutes of pizza time. We wanted to rent out the rink to cater our own food but it was sold out. So reserve way in advanced. There’s an arcade area with ticket games to redeem prizes. Snack area with movie theater concession items. Be sure to check the schedule for adult nights, family nights, theme nights, etc.”
