This is the newly renovated Universally Accessible Playground in Fountain Valley inside Mile Square Park. Enter from Brookhurst on the West and there is ample parking next to the playground (granted we visited in winter while there was no organized sports like baseball). The playground itself is great - kids of many ages can play here and it is well spaced out. Nearby restrooms and picnic tables to bring snacks or lunch are a plus!

Parking is ample outside of baseball and sports tournament days — visit in winter or on weekday mornings for easiest access. Families can extend the outing across the wider Mile Square Park grounds.

“Great place to be. Never needed a gym pass, I always go here to do ring and calisthenics workout. Even during the pandemic, my regime never had to change one bit. This place is gigantic and isn't prohibited like other places are.”

“One of the better parks in West OC. Park is always clean and well kept most people are friendly and kids tend to keep to themselves which isn't always bad. Overall a nice park for big families.”
