Very nice park with plenty of space, one of the smaller parks in Hollywood, CA. Which seems like direct community only park then for the general public. Great park of the kids and usually very quiet, good place for exercise equipment use, relax or just want an outdoor place to study or work (just no park bench with table not is there a public restroom. Plenty dog poop can be found, just maybe to keep some out that they don't want to be there. It seems to be habit everyway I so I'm mentioning it. All photo taken same day of post.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families with both kids and dogs who want a small, safe neighborhood park experience. The playground works well for various ages, but the heavy dog use means parents should watch where kids play on the grass. Ideal for short visits rather than long picnics due to limited shaded seating.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Bring folding chairs if you want shaded seating - benches are in full sun
⏰Watch for dog waste on the lawn area before letting kids play on grass
🎟️Park has exercise equipment for adults while kids play
πŸš—No public restrooms available

β€œDelongpre Park in Hollywood has truly become the best park for dog owners in the area. This gem of a park is perfect for letting your dogs run off-leash and socialize with many other furry friends. The atmosphere is incredibly friendly, and it's clear that the park is a favorite among local dog owners. What makes Delongpre Park stand out even more is its recent transformation. The park has been thoroughly cleaned up, and there are no longer any issues with homeless people in and around the area, making it a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're looking for a place to relax, play fetch, or just enjoy a beautiful day outdoors with your dog, Delongpre Park is the perfect spot. Highly recommended for all dog lovers!”

β€œSmall neighborhood park in the middle of Hollywood. Has a (newer) play area, outdoor fitness equipment, large mature shade trees, a few benches for seating, a lawn area, and a large fence around the perimeter of the park.. The playground is fenced off from the rest of the park and has playgrounds for both big and small kids and a swing set. Note that the lawn area is mostly dirt these days because a lot of people bring there dogs here and let them run off leash (so be careful if you plan to sit in the grass since not everyone is considerate enough to pickup after their pets)”

β€œI love this park! It’s small but really nice and always super clean. There are usually a lot of people walking their dogs, which gives it a friendly vibe. I’ve seen families having picnics, and the playground is great for kids β€” it’s always busy with little ones running around. There are also some exercise machines, which is a nice bonus if you want to get a quick workout in. The park feels really safe too, even when it’s starting to get dark. Overall, it’s just a great spot to relax and enjoy some fresh air.”
