“Nice and relaxing place, weekdays is easy to find parking space however weekends tend to be packed. There's also a little playground for the kiddos and a cool place to go for a walk.”

“There are so many amazing things about this man made lagoon. Steps from the beach, lots of free parking, the huge numbers of different kinds of water fowl, the playground and park and little league field, watching the Marina Del Rey boats going in and out of the harbor. There’s even a bathroom right next to the playground, though I’ve watched many go into the trees and relieve themselves. Back in the day when this was first built, they had boat races on it. No boats, swimming, fishing or being on this lagoon is permitted any longer but there are very few signs posted not to do it and then there are those just do it anyway. Still quite a marvelous place.”

“Really love the park which offefs gorgeous beach area. While not too busy, except on weekends, it's a perfect place to go to see the sunset when you don't have a lot of time or you want to enjoy the Pacific Ocean or be at the park all day. There is plenty of street parking, and once out of the car, you can relax right away. What I love the most about this area is that you can enjoy the park, stroll on the beach, sit to watch the sunset, or grab a bike and go for a ride. It's just a wonderful place that offers a slice of SoCal heaven that isn't too far from home.”
