1 / 2Denver Rock Park
π Northeast, CO
Denver Rock Park on E 26th Ave features natural boulder formations with climbing routes for both kids and adults. Sits next to the greenway for easy pairing with a bike ride or walk. No restrooms or shade on site.
Good little park next to the green way. It doesn't have a restroom. It's a good place for a picnic but there are no shades here. Kids can definitely climb but there are some boulder routes here for adults too.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for active families with kids who love climbing β roughly ages 4 and up. Adults who boulder will find legitimate routes here too. No shade or restrooms make it a shorter-stop venue in hot weather. Pairs well with the adjacent greenway for bike-and-play outings.

Overview
Denver Rock Park is a compact outdoor climbing space built around real boulder formations near the Stapleton greenway on E 26th Ave. Kids can scramble freely across the rocks as adults tackle designated boulder routes β one of the few Denver parks where both share the same terrain. The greenway adjacency makes it a natural add-on to a bike ride or trail walk. There are no restrooms and no shade structures, so sun protection and a bathroom plan are necessary for longer visits.
