Central Park Playground
📍 Northeast, CO
Central Park Playground in Denver's Stapleton area offers varied equipment across age groups, including dedicated zones for younger children. Open views of the surrounding park. Portable restrooms on-site — quality has been inconsistent.
Great playground with lots of variety and stuff for any age
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with kids spanning a wide age range — the multi-zone layout means toddlers and older children each have space suited to them. Go prepared with hand sanitizer and a backup restroom plan, as portable facilities can be poorly maintained.

“Kids loved it”
Kate Torres
“The bathrooms and porta potties were absolutely trashed (with food, garbage, and large puddles of urine) and were not safe for my child to use. We had to drive to the local Natural Grocers to use their facilities. There are several fun areas for kids to enjoy, including smaller children. Great views of the mountains.”

Overview
Located at MLK Jr Blvd in Denver's Central Park neighborhood, this playground earns high marks for its variety of structures across age groups. Multiple play zones keep toddlers and older kids engaged separately. The surrounding park provides open sightlines for supervising parents. Restroom access comes via portable facilities on-site, which have drawn complaints about cleanliness — the nearest grocery store is a short drive if needed.
