βGood Friday crowd was overwhelming as we entered, but as soon as we got past check in it's wasn't bad. Indoor exhibits were crowded, lots of strollers. But outside didn't feel crowded at all. Love watching the Giraffes, Orangutans and Gibbons the most. Looking forward to the beach sanctuary.β

Overview
The Giraffe Habitat is part of Philadelphia Zoo's African Plains section, one of the most popular areas on campus. Visitors can watch giraffes roam their open habitat and often spot them at eye level from elevated viewing areas. The zoo offers ticketed giraffe feedings as an add-on attraction. Nearby enclosures house orangutans and gibbons, making this a high-density area for wildlife viewing. Outdoor areas stay less crowded even on busy days.
