1 / 3Gorman Playground
📍 Queens, NY
A clean, recently renovated playground in peaceful Jackson Heights with gated play areas, basketball courts, and good facilities for families with young children.
Solid Jackson Heights spot. Recently renovated, playground is nice and clean. Basketball and handball courts, benches, bathrooms. Gets busy but never feels crazy. Quiet residential area, street parking can be a pain. Good for a couple hours.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with toddlers and small children seeking a clean, recently updated playground in a peaceful setting. The quiet Jackson Heights location and renovated facilities make it worth a drive, though parents should clarify the gating situation for child safety. Ideal for a relaxed few hours of play.

“This park is very clean and within a nice quiet neighborhood. I live about a 15min drive away and will gladly take the commute. I also saw police stop by and patrol the park. Very impressed”

“Recently renovated playground area for kids is really nice. Bathrooms are in an acceptable condition . The park is confined so you have to open the gates to access the playground area. For those parents with small children this is a great option. This Park is not so crowded as Traverse Park.”
