Nice little park for a picnic. There is plenty of room for kids to run free, public restrooms, a volleyball court and basketball courts. The grape vines over the picnic tables is a nice touch too.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

A strong pick for Calabasas families wanting a shaded, full-afternoon picnic outing with activities for mixed ages. The grape arbor creates genuinely cool outdoor seating even on warmer days. Younger kids gravitate to the interactive sound installations and baby swings; older kids use the courts.

Clean park in the area, frequented by families and well kept. Large grassy area for picnics, sports, and big groups. Playground is moderate size but has all the things the kiddos need to play. Also, it has some nice tree coverage for when it’s hot out.

This park rules! Look at all these worms! Also, really nice baby swings. A cute little basketball court. And the grape arbor is actually beautiful. This park has a really great couple of things. One, me and the kid love the animal roar touch pad. Two, the glockenspiel installation is really great. I really enjoy annoying the kids by playing a Steven Reich Philip Glass inspired multiphasic minimalistic musical piece. Also, the sandy volleyball court is often used.
