đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families seeking an affordable, spacious swimming experience with excellent staff support. The large, clean pool and budget-friendly pricing make it ideal for regular summer visits. However, families with mobility needs or high facility expectations should consider the outdated changing rooms and accessibility limitations.

âThis is my favorite spot for a dip in the Summer, the water is perfect and the staffs are always friendly, there's not too many people so I can relax when im just floating in water. So sad it's gonna close soon and open next summer :/â

âLOVE this pool! My kid and I have been coming here for years. Perfect summer afternoons spent here at one of our fine city's adequate amenities. The pool is clean, not crowded, and embedded in the heart of Highland Park with historic murals within view and the light trail zooming by every few minutes. The lifeguards and staff are so friendly and smart! Especially love how BIG this pool is compared to other public pools nearby. In case you don't already know, the cost for a summer pool pass is $10 for kids. Adults over 50 get in for $1, everyone else only $4. Local tip: go to the architecturally significant Arroyo Seco library in the early afternoon, then stroll thru the park to the pool... Convenient to public trans/metro. 4 stars only bc the showers and changing rooms badly in need of an upgrade. Other public pools have good showers... Why not this one?â

âMixed reviews. The pool itself is lovely, water temp perfect for lap swimming, and very clean pool and not crowded. Lifeguards and staff super friendly. However, for this 75 year old woman who is used to climbing out of public pools, I found that the ladder steps and the pool edge were very difficult to navigate. Glassell, and Yosemite have ladders as well, but are much easier. Also, the showers and changing rooms were very outdated, and not handicapped friendly.â
