“The interior of IPIC Theatre is unlike a typical cinema — it’s upscale and stylish. After entering, you go down two escalators. The middle level has a pool table, and the main lounge area on the lower level features cozy sofas, a full bar, and a menu of delicious food, drinks, and cocktails. Inside the theater, every seat reclines and comes with a clean blanket. If you need anything, just press the silver button on the table and a friendly staff member will assist you right away. Their service was exceptional — I absolutely loved it! Tonight, I ordered the filet mignon sliders and a Coke. They also provided snacks, popcorn, and even mint candies with the Yelp logo. Enjoying tasty food while watching a movie felt so relaxing and luxurious — it’s definitely a great spot for date nights too! One note for anyone planning to drive: if you park in the structure behind the theater, there’s no validation. Parking is $10 for three hours — just something to keep in mind!”

“Love going, been going for years. Great for a date night! Love the pool table and the bar area to enjoy before and after a movie. Great ambiance. Quick service to movie seats. I appreciate the blanket as I often get cold, and the cubby for your belongings. Love the concept, the privacy and that it’s spaced just far enough from each other that it doesn’t feel overwhelming or crowded. Menu has great variety on top of the typical popcorn and drinks. Love that they validate your parking ticket as well.”

“Have been coming to this location consistently for the past 2 ½ years, averaging about 1 movie a week, so have been close to 100 times. Overall, I’d rate it a solid four stars! The staff are mostly kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming, and there are some true standouts I want to shout out: Ansia, Veronica, Will, and Emilio. They’ve gone above and beyond to make me feel welcome with warm smiles, great energy, and genuine hospitality. Their consistency is one of the big reasons I keep coming back! Like anywhere I’ve been this often, there have been a few hiccups here and there, but the food is solid for a movie theatre! There was one big hiccup that had me questioning my loyalty, but after dealing with Courtney in guest relations, she immediately want me back with her care, empathy, efficiency, and overall, just being a great person and representative of the brand! The wine list and cocktails are also really good for the price point, and the overall atmosphere feels more like a hotel lobby with a bar than a typical movie theatre. It’s a fun place to hang out before or after a movie. The unique pod seating is what makes IPIC stand out. Having your own little space, plus food and drinks delivered during the film, makes for a great experience. That said, the screens are small and the sound system is not like AMC. Even with that, I consistently choose IPIC over AMC because the overall vibe and personalized setup win! One thing I’ve noticed over all my visits is that I’ve never had a manager approach me to check in, which feels odd since managers are often present in the service area near the registers. The only exception has been one manager: short blonde hair, light complexion, who has offered a friendly hello and smile. That small gesture goes a long way, and I wish more of that presence carried through. All in, IPIC Pas delivers a consistent, upscale, and individualized movie experience that’s hard to beat. With staff like Ansia, Veronica, Will, and Emilio making guests feel valued, it’s become my go-to movie spot in Pasadena!”

“In Pasadena, I have walked by IPic Theater many times and have noticed it only once or twice. I was in the area for a different task then decided I wanted to see a movie. My initial assumption all this time was that this theater was a hole in the wall that screened older movies. I was kind of confused when my ticket was $25 but then I understood why. Lol. Sorry guys for my naivete. IPic is a beautiful facility that does not show off its luxury from the outside. It is a Dine-in Theater with a full lounge and bar. There is another level where you can play pool. Happy Hour operates between certain hours, but they do have an extension menu with more choices. I was happy to find a couple of dishes that were within my dietary restrictions. Plus, you have the option to veganize your meal. I asked if there was high fructose cornsyrup in the drinks and there was none. The water was fresh and good. I ordered the brussel sprouts. You can have them without the parmesan. The dish was flavorful. I just wished they were cooked longer so that some pieces were not so difficult to chew. They were still a little raw at the root and I just could not bite into them at all. Otherwise my experience was delightful. Blankets provided. Movie was great. Clean restrooms. I will definitely attend again.”
