1 / 2K1 Speed Mount Kisco
đ Mount Kisco, NY
Multi-attraction entertainment center with high-performance electric go-karts, upscale bowling, modern arcade, and ninja obstacle course. Best for families with teens who want premium thrills.
son and his two, 14 year old friends had an excellent time driving and bowling. There was virtually no waiting time to drive and they were the fastest go karts they have driven so far. They rented cameras for videos. This was an excellent experience for me, as it was so much nicer than competitor go karts and more space than we experienced at competitor go karts in Wrentham, MA. There were plenty of seats as I had my 84 year old mother with me and staff was polite and helpful.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with teenagers who want high-speed thrills and don't mind premium pricing. The facility offers excellent karts and amenities, but be prepared for expensive costs ($37+ per person with membership) and potentially poor customer service that could dampen special occasions.

âThe go-kart experience was overall very fun and exciting, with a great atmosphere that made the whole visit enjoyable. The environment was lively, well-organized, and had a nice energy that made it a great place to hang out and have fun with friends or family. However, the steering on the go-karts was not the best. It felt a bit loose and harder to control than expected, which made driving less smooth and slightly frustrating at times. Improving the steering would definitely make the racing experience much better and more comfortable. Despite that issue, the track was enjoyable and the overall vibe of the place was really good. The atmosphere, fun factor, and entertainment value made it a memorable experience, and with better kart handling, it could easily be an even better attraction. in the steering wheel did not work properlyâ

âI'm sorry to write a mediocre review, but our experience was disappointing. We visited on Xmas day so the place was mostly empty, there were no waiting lines. It's well established, built and maintained. Free parking lot, comfortable seating, clean restrooms. We enjoyed bowling and then had pizza and fries, the service was good, everything was pricey but on par with other places like Dave & Buster, TopGolf etc. The electric karts are great and the race track offers a good level of excitement and challenge. I agreed to let our teenage kids ride, despite the high price ($28 for one race), and was annoyed by the long and cumbersome registration process. They require all the personal and contact info of each person, even if you're visiting from another state and don't need or want to be in their system (and have them share your info with other companies, or send you frequent emails). And worse: they require buying a membership for each player, which brings the price up to $37 per person :-/ The race was pretty short considering the price, it ends when someone completes 12 laps. On Xmas day there were no other people there, they could have let the kids enjoy a few more minutes, but didn't :-/ Overall- we had some fun with the family over the holiday, that was the main attraction for us. But we would not return to this place in our next visits to NY, it probably gets crowded and loud when full.â

âThe facility is awesome - been here before. The management needs to be fired. They are unresponsive, not returning calls, delaying emails. We tried to book a party event - after a few weeks of trying to get hold to the manager, she finally wrote back, offering a date and time, then the next email from her was that the contract link that she send (she never did) was expired and the slot is gone. Then I saw the reviews and to no surprise, other people also have problems with them. If anyone corporate is reading this - it's not way to run a business. I'd recommend to stay away from this facility until they significantly boost the customer service.â
