Kenneth Hahn Park - Playground
📍 Los Angeles, CA
Playground designed for ages 1–3 inside Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area — a large park with hiking trails, scenic views, and a separate playground for older children. Cafe, parking, and pram access on-site.
A perfect place to recharge in nature — it feels like stepping into another world away from the city. Spacious, peaceful, and great for walks or scenic views. There’s a playground where even our 2-year-old had a fantastic time, and it felt very safe to let kids play. We parked at Stoneview Nature Center and walked across the bridge — a beautiful approach to the park. Great for families with young children.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with toddlers aged 1–3 who want a safe, low-key playground inside a large natural park. Pairing the playground with the hiking trails makes for a full outing. Arrive with time to spare before — facilities close ahead of the park itself, and staff enforce it strictly.

“This was such a lovely little playground. I recommend you bring ages 1-3 here. Unlike the second playground, this one is better suited for younger kids.”

“Never been to this park when I lived in Cali. It was good to see people of all ethnicities enjoying the park. Lots of hiking trails.”
