1 / 3LOOMA SPACE
π Lomita, CA
An upscale indoor playground best suited for ages 1-4, featuring beautiful design, security cameras, and cafe. Popular for birthday parties but has maintenance concerns.
Looma Space is such a gem in Lomita! Itβs a clean, safe, and beautifully designed indoor playground perfect for young kids. Thereβs so much to exploreβslide, costumes, a pretend shop, and more. One thing I really appreciate is the security: there are cameras everywhere and screens where you can always see where your child is, which gives great peace of mind. The attached cafΓ© is a big plus, with a good variety of food, drinks, and snacks for both kids and parents. At the end, kids even get to pick a little toy, which makes leaving much easier. Highly recommend this spot for a fun and relaxing outing!
π Family Action Verdict
This indoor playground works best for toddlers aged 1-4, with appealing design and good security features including cameras throughout. However, significant maintenance issues with broken toys and equipment, plus potential overcrowding during events, mean you should manage expectations despite the premium pricing.

βGreat indoor play space with a couple of things I wish they changed. 1) it really seems to be for ages 1 to 4. Although they advertise for up to 12 year olds. It would be nice if they added some things for slightly older kids. They sort of have a ball run in the ball pit, they could double down on that and make it more visible/easier to play with, with switches etc. It maybe another slide or climbing area for older kids. Or some puzzelle type elements. 2) overall the space is nice but it needs some maintenance, which may have been why it felt a bit boring for my 5 year old. The car maintenance area was all broken and the fishing game was missing any fishing polls. The place could use some light maintenance and restocking of toys. Overall though, I would recommend it for toddler aged kids. My other son who is 2 yo loved it. He loved the shopping carts, building blocks and ball pit. Although he wasn't happy that the slide was 4+ (maybe they could add a small slide for younger kids also?) Also the food was surprisingly good. It is rare for these places to have food let alone food that the parents actually would eat along with the kids.β

βThe food and beverages are pretty good. Most of the toys are broken. They used to have a projector game for the kids, but it is broken. They used to have a giant magnetic claw game. It is broken. All the toy phones and cars are broken. The costumes are ripped. Very few small imagination toys are left. The staff is top notch, though. Very polite! For the price and the branding of "premium" it is... a little janky. You can tell they had a good idea when they set it up, but they are just not taking care of it at all.β

βMy family and I have visited Luca space many times and even did a full rent out for a bday party. Unfortunately, as of late the place is going down hill. We went there for the kidchella event, and it was clearly oversold and capacity limits were not observed. There were not enough chairs for guests so we had to stand while eating at our table. The place was like a zoo with no safety being observed. Their main attraction is a slide to which kids were pushing each other and cutting in line and blocking other kids from sliding. There was no staff to regulate any of it or make sure safety is being observed. Few kids left crying because they were getting bumped. The one lady that is really good at regulating safety was stuck doing balloon animals and tattoos for which looma space charged high prices but did not even hire and outside service. Just seems like now its all about squeezing most profit without caring for what goes on inside. Place was great in the past but would not recommend it going forward. Overcrowded, unsafe, and over priced.β
