π Family Action Verdict
Best for families where riders meet the 54-inch height requirement β typically children aged 8 and up depending on growth. Shorter or younger children can experience SeaWorld's other coasters with lower thresholds as older siblings and adults tackle Manta. The unique flying position makes it a priority for thrill-seeking tweens and teens.

βAwesome coaster. Iβve never ridden a coaster like this before and the thrill of being facedown was fantastic. I wouldnβt worry about what car you get. Since youβre facing down and not forward, your view isnβt impeded. There is a small area when boarding where you can stow sandals, crocs, small bags, and phones.β

Overview
Manta is SeaWorld Orlando's signature flying coaster, the only ride of its kind in Florida. Riders are tilted face-down in a horizontal flying position before the train launches into inversions, dives, and sweeping turns. The 54-inch height requirement makes it a ride for older children and adults. Reviewers describe the face-down perspective as unlike any other coaster experience β the view is unobstructed regardless of seating position.
