Nice park and love the community garden close by.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for kids ages 4–12 who love speed and physical play. The fast twisty slide is the main draw — older kids and brave younger ones will ride it repeatedly. Train watchers of any age will enjoy the bench views. The community garden adds a calm counterpoint for adults.

“#FASTEST SLIDE IN THE WEST DURAGLIDE 2000. This Canadian wonder is legitimately the fastest twisty slide I've ever been on. HOLD ON TO YOUR HATS LADIES AND GENTLEMEN. Very fun! We love sitting on the bench to have a snack and watch the trains go by. Big neighborhood garden nearby is beautiful. Lots of things to climb on. Not much shade from the late morning sun, so it can get quite hot here in the summer, though the large play structure itself provides a bit of a respite.”

“Beautiful park with playground for kids younger and older ages.”

“I like this playground, for I like spiral staircases. This park DOES have a spiral staircase and also has ladders and 2 slides. It also has spinning objects and swings. The only thing I wish was different is more benches, and more drinking fountains. There's a trail that runs through it and people walking may need to stop to refill their bottles or sip water.”

Overview
Nettie Moore Playground stands out in Denver for one specific reason reviewers keep returning to: the DuraGlide 2000 twisty slide, described by regulars as the fastest twisty slide in the city. The playground also includes a spiral staircase, standard ladders, two slides total, swings, and spinning elements. A trail runs through the park, and a large community garden borders the site. Benches positioned to watch passing trains make this a hit with train-obsessed toddlers and their parents.
