📍 Las Vegas, AZ
One World Interactive Aquarium in Las Vegas offers Discovery and Expedition passes with animal encounters every 15-30 minutes — Asian otters, capybaras, wallabies, porcupines, stingrays, and sharks. Deceptively spacious inside a strip mall location.
My husband and I visited here for the first time and had an amazing experience. It was clear that the animals are very well cared for and genuinely loved by the staff. The animals were constantly going up to the employees on their own, which really showed how comfortable and trusting they are. That alone says a lot about how well they are treated. The employees were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do, and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. I had read some negative reviews beforehand claiming the animals were stressed, kept in small cages, or that the place smelled bad, and I honestly did not see any of that. The animals appeared healthy and relaxed, and the facility was exactly what you would expect in a place where animals live. It is obvious the staff knows what they are doing and truly cares about the animals. This place does not deserve the harsh reviews it has received, especially considering the effort and dedication that goes into caring for these animals every day.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families seeking close animal contact beyond what standard zoos offer. Kids of all ages can feed stingrays and sharks on every visit; Expedition pass holders unlock otter and capybara encounters that reviewers describe as a highlight of their Las Vegas trip. The indoor setting suits all weather.

“This place is a hidden gem with so many cute affordable interactions with many different exotic animals and sea life. Did not expect much from it coming in through a strip mall but turned out stayed the whole day. The kids loved every interaction. Way more affordable and interactive than the zoo or Seaworld. If we lived here would definitely buy a pass. Only criticism is that it does smell like animals. Probably because it’s all indoors and if they put the otters in the back or the middle of the place that would improve first impression smell of the aquarium. Did not know cute otters naturally smell kind of bad. But unlimited feeding of sting rays sharks koi fish and other free animal interactions make up for it.”

“Such a fun place! It's HUGE on the inside and every animal has such a spacious and quality enclosure. We got to meet Coconut the Capybara and she was such a sweetie. We plan to go back and meet the otters soon. Would highly recommend if you are considering doing an offstrip excursion!”

“I LOOOOOOVE THIS PLACE. I am going to make it a point every time I go to Vegas to visit. I went for my birthday and it was worth the time and money spent. And the employees were kind, friendly and very knowledgeable.”

Overview
Located inside a Las Vegas strip mall, this interactive aquarium opens into a much larger facility than the exterior suggests. Animal encounters rotate every 15-30 minutes across passes, including otter feeding and training sessions, capybara meet-and-greets, and unlimited stingray, shark, and koi feeding. All enclosures are notably spacious, with animals visibly comfortable around staff — a reflection of the hands-on care approach that reviewers consistently highlight.
