“Canarsie spot along the water. Trails are nice for a walk, some actual woods back there. Ecology Park section is only open sometimes when staff's around. Pool has mixed reviews—some love it for birthday parties, others say it's outdated and pricey. Decent for fishing or just sitting by the basin.”

“Paerdegat Basin Park is a nice spot for a leisurely afternoon! The park has a decent playground that kept the kids entertained, though it could use some updates to the equipment. The restrooms were functional but not the cleanest, which was a bit disappointing. On the bright side, the park is dog-friendly, making it a great place to bring pets along for some fresh air. The waterfront views are lovely, and it’s a nice area for walking or picnicking. Overall, it’s a pleasant park that has potential, and I’ll likely return for another visit!”
